Two Collegiate graduates, Tyler Negus Snidow '80 and Sarah Paxton '84, have dreamed up ways to be part of the UCI Worlds cycling event in Richmond this week.
Ms. Snidow, owner of Viva-la-Local, is running two pop-up shops during this last weekend of UCI Worlds bike races in downtown Richmond. Check out her collection of Virginia-made goods at her two locations: FanFest in the Greater Richmond Convention Center, and a storefront at 318 W. Broad St.
Ms. Paxton, co-owner of LaDiff home furnishings store downtown, has teamed up with Ledbury and Hardywood to create a Bike Race Party Fan Zone with food trucks, craft beer and a view of the races. The men's elite race on Monday will pass the site 16 times. Tickets ($10) & Info: www.ladiff.com/BikeRaces2015.php.
